Eva Solo Stainless Steel Charcoal Grill

This is perhaps the nicest looking charcoal grill I’ve seen, even though it kind of looks like a trash can.  But a very nice trash can!

It costs almost $500 though.  Ha!

String and Stone

Look at these two Kickstarter projects playing nice with each other.  Neat!

Pebble has raised over $10 million on Kickstarter.  They were getting so many backers that they limited pre-orders to 85,000.  And they SOLD OUT.  You can still back them though for a buck or something.

John Landis Mason patented his jar in 1858, but the design hasn’t changed much since then.
The 2 key features of the Mason jar that made it a lot easier to preserve food at home were:
a screw-on lid that formed a tight seal as hot food cooled, and
transparent glass that allowed you to see what was going on inside.
Things we take for granted today, but which didn’t always exist.
Design is neat.

DODOcase came out with a Spring/Summer series of iPad cases.
The cases are handmade in San Francisco using traditional bookbinding techniques.  I think it’s neat that an old-school craft is used to make new-school products.

Verso Snack Dispenser
Cool Hunting:
The Verso Snack Dispenser is not only a sophisticated way to pass Skittles around the office, but by keeping hands out of a communal bowl, it’s also a healthier system for sharing treats. Created by skilled designer Mario Taepper, the German-made dispenser stands upright—working as an elegant, petite vase when not stocked with snacks—and is crafted from 18/10 mirror-polished stainless steel. $85
