Back in the winter, I saw an Artist’s Choice exhibit at the MoMA called Rebus. In the Artist’s Choice exhibit, the artist gets to act as the curator.
In Rebus, Vik Muniz presented about 80 works from the MoMA’s collection in a sequence such that each succeeding work had some sort of connection to the previous work. It was a cool exhibit because as I walked through the sequence, I was trying to figure out the connection that Muniz saw between 2 juxtaposed works of art.
Anyway, I’m going to try and do the same thing with my posts from now on: 2 successive posts will have some connection to each other. Part of the fun is guessing what the heck I could’ve been thinking.
